The Digital Library will cease to exist by the end of 2011

The University Library of Amsterdam which is responsible for the execution of this service will replace its technical infrastructure. The new infrastructure makes the digital library obsolete.
The management of AdamNet is looking at possibilities to maintain the Digital Library in another form. The most obvious possibility is to use the searching facilities of WorldCat.org .  At the moment 14 catalogues of AdamNet libraries have been placed already in WorldCat. A  study has been started to see if and how these libraries can be probed with one command. Besides that, the AdamNet management is exploring the possibility of having AdamNet libraries join WorldCat.

It is important for you as a user to know that on January 1, 2012. there will be some changes.
